A customer liked that this clock worked perfectly by keeping accurate time and this reviewer was overall happy with the look and design of it. He also appreciated that it had a light detector. This feature allows the customer to make the batteries last longer since it will not make any sounds if there is no light. Therefore at night, the customer will not worry about any noise coming from this clock. Another customer highly recommended it especially for the living room. This customer was happy of the way it was packaged and also liked the fact that this clock did not need any winding at all. This was a good buy for the price considering that it all the features worked well as in chiming the hours and that the pendulum runs smoothly too. In addition, this customer noted that some parts were made of plastic such as the hands and the door; however this customer was still satisfied with the purchase.

The antique clock did pose some problems for other customers. A couple customers complained that they felt this was a cheap clock as the materials for some of the parts were made out of plastic. Some reviewers felt that this was a waste of their money. One customer complained that the picture used to advertise it was misleading; in the picture, a girl was seen pulling the chain. However, this reviewer found that the chain was actually already fixed. Others complained about the performance of this clock as several noted that there were problems with the pendulum not swinging and the cuckoo not working.
